Cup Rack

At the dishwashing area, a soiled tray has the cup removed and placed upside down in the white Cup Rack. When the Cup Rack is full (25 cups), the operator takes the rack from the tray stripping area to the dishwasher. Before the Cup Rack goes through the dishwasher, another Cup Rack is placed on top of the 25 cups. This holds the cups down as they pass through the washing system and is optional depending on the force of water at your facility.

When the rack comes out of the dishwasher and with a Cup Rack on top, the operator flips the rack over and removes the top rack exposing the cups that remain in position, right side up in the bottom rack. Racks can then be stacked on top of one another using a basket lowerator or sanitary trolley.

The Cup Racks can now be taken to a filling station where the operator can take one rack from the stack and fill using a 5 cup automatic filler until each of the 25 cups are filled. The cups can then receive a lid (disposable or reusable) and stacked ready for the tray line.
