October, 2001 - New location for Burlodge USA, new products and new staff members

New Location
As of July 15th, 2001, Burlodge USA relocated to new offices in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with additional space and warehousing to accommodate our growing business. Burlodge is now on the same campus as several other Ali Group operating companies.

New Products
Burlodge announces the launch of its new tray delivery system, the Novaflex at the Equip’ Hotel Show in Paris and the Milan Expo, in November 2001. Look for it at trade shows in North America in 2002.

This new tray system builds on the success of the Alphagen system with new models and many additional features, including the same flexible hot/cold tray spacing, and a new insulated delivery cart, the Isoflex. Bnetwise (see picture) is the next generation of the HIT Monitoring System, which incorporates all of the features of the original HACCP Information Technology and allows for real time monitoring from a remotely located PC in addition. This is an exciting and practical tool for multi-site and large facilities to enhance their control over many pieces of equipment from one central location. New Staff
As we continue to grow with 19 new installations in 2001- we have recruited additional staff to support and develop our network of customers.

Jim Pennington has joined Burlodge USA as Regional Sales Manager for the Central Region. Jim is based in Tennessee, and joins us with many years of experience in Rethermalization Technology and food service.

Peter Scotland is an addition to our system support staff, and comes to us from a recent cook chill and Alphagen installation site. Peter has valuable experience to lend our customers in setting up for cook chill production, and will be assisting with installations in all regions.

Wendy Papke, R.D., although not new to Burlodge, has recently joined the US office as Vice President, Marketing. Wendy had been with Burlodge Canada since 1995, as Executive Dietitian and in various Sales roles, and has participated in about 75 installations of Burlodge systems throughout North America.
